Sky Land Management provides high quality, innovative aerial and traditional ground based land management solutions. Since 2014, we have used the unique capabilities of the latest precision drone technology to provide safer, targeted, efficient and cost effective solutions for clients, in conjunction with traditional ground based services.
Sky Land Management continues to lead the way in the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), commonly referred to as drones, for aerial application such as weed spraying and seeding. With our recently upgraded RPAS, we are at the forefront of technology, employing the latest autonomous, precision application drones for spraying and spreading. This latest technology provides the added benefits of swarming, using up to 5 drones working together simultaneously. In addition, we use an integrated survey drone providing precision mapping to enhance planning and deployment of the drones.
The unrivalled capabilities of drone technology has seen land management change in the last decade. Using our drones, we are able to provide solutions to treat areas in a better, less invasive / intrusive manner and also treat areas that have previously been deemed inaccessible or unsafe. We are currently involved in several trials and continue to explore new ways we can utilise the exciting capabilities of RPAS technology.
Sky Land Management has been certified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) as a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operator since 2015 and all pilots are CASA licenced.
Our Managing Director Phil Milling has been in the land management industry since 1999, delivering quality land management solutions. His experience spans across all levels of government, mining, agriculture, construction and infrastructure. Phil has specialist experience and knowledge in planning and implementing works in areas including weed management, site rehabilitation, revegetation, riparian management and management planning. Phil leads a team of experienced and highly skilled consultants and conservation field officers.
